Authorities are working to recover the body of a man who fell into a large sinkhole that opened up under his home in rural Placer County.
The 27-year-old man was on the ground floor near the kitchen area around 9:30 p.m. Friday when the concrete foundation under him gave way. He plunged 10 feet into the ground and was buried under a pile of rubble.
