If the polar bear somehow knew that the stone could break the glass and possibly lead to his escape, then I would have to rethink my thoughts of how intelligent polar bears are.
On a diff note, this makes me remember what I heard on QI, that you don't have to outrun a polar bear, they are so easily distracted, you just need to either take off your clothes or outrun your friend =Þ.
So polar bears can be as destructive as humans. That's kind of funny.

ReplyDeleteThe bear clearly had some sort of result in mind, whether it was to scare the men or hit them. There was intent.
