Apologies for the lack of posts today

Unfortunately a vile, mendacious zealot seems determined to destroy what little peace of mind I had remaining - and it's really getting to me at the moment.

I would, and will, explain further in detail, but now isn't the right time.

Hopefully I can get to see my doctor later today.

All being well a semblance of normal service will resume tomorrow.

  6. I was booted off on Jan 3rd, 3 weeks after my mother died. It's been tough and I know it's only going to get tougher but NTDWA usually manages to put a smile on my face or at least makes me think, "WTF?!". So thanks for that.

Try and hang in there. Difficult, I know, but we can't let the bastards win, not easily at least.

Cheers for that BoS, and good luck to yourself!

Good luck, hope things work out ok for you. It's a pretty miserable working life out there right now, and the current lot in Government are exactly doing much to help (IMHO).

  10. I tend to believe in 'peaks and valleys'. Good times don't always last but neither do the bad. Things are tough now Kev, but they should turn around. Chin up!

Incidentally, why have you got my link list tacked onto the end of your 'recommended sites'?

Sorry Kev, would you like me to remove it. If I was honest it was pure laziness.

  16. No, of course not, Phil!

    I was just curious.

  18. I know it's fake Latin, but "nil carborundum illegitemi".

Having grown up in NI with our very own variety of embarrassing polarized assclown politicians.. I wouldn't even slow down if I saw one crossing the road. Well, maybe I'd have to, it's difficult to reverse if you don't slow down first.

  19. It's difficult not to sometimes, Ratz.

The current Conservative party never cease to amaze me with their undisguised hatred of those 'beneath' them.

They won't be happy until we return to feudalism.

  22. Hope you feel better soon. And good luck with everything. You don't need BS on top of not feeling well.

  23. Hope things go well. I do agree that things seem to clump--really crummy for a while, and then good. And as for your politicians, just be thankful you don't have Tea Party Republicans running things. Or rather, stopping things up.

    Keep your head up mate.
I think you may be going through what I just went through with them horrible Tory B45+ards.

  25. Cheers for that, S!

    Aren't they just!

Are things okay with you now?

  26. I’m a little late here, but I’d like to help. I’d be willing to write these assclowns, and tell them, Hey look at his website, the man is definitely sick. Ha Ha, just kidding man. ;o)
But seriously, I hope it works out OK for you.

Yes and no, sort of, thanks. I won my appeal against them but my health has took another serious turn for the worse

  28. I'm glad you won your appeal, S, but sorry your health has suffered as a result.

The whole process is a disgrace.

From April, people will only be able to appeal if some bod at the DWP agrees you can. This can take an UNLIMITED amount of time.

In the meantime, those people will only be able to claim JSA.

And of course if they are unfit for work, they won't be able to fulfill the obligations necessary to claim JSA.

So their money will be stopped ...

    These bastards make me sick.

    Literally.

That's a horrible, horrible way to treat the most vulnerable in society.

They now have 28 days to decide if they want to disagree with the tribunal panel who ruled in my favour. Sort of appeal against me winning my appeal!
    When will it end?

  30. I've read that article before. I watched the Parliamentary debate.

I honestly don't know how they sleep at night.

But they're okay so they don't give a shit.

The appeals process is just a ridiculous situation. I hope you get yours confirmed.

But don't be surprised if soon after they call you in and reassess you all over again.

That's how they operate. Wear you down.

Every week 73 people found fit for work are dying. Every week.

What really, really annoys me about this is that it isn't about saving money. It's costing more than if they'd just left everyone alone.

But Duncan Smith laughs and continues to scoff his 30 quid breakfasts claimed on expenses.

I wish you well mate! :)
