No problem! As we say in Dutch "it's cucumber time", meaning it's summer and news outlets are not as active as usual.
Cucumber time -- I love that! :) I'm always amazed at how much stuff you come up with every day. A slow day every now and then is certainly understandable!

What you call slim pickings is a lot of quality stuff compared to a lot of other (even very big and popular) blogs.
