Subliminal message in TV ad called politician a 'jerk off'

A political TV ad in Australia called the Northern Territory Chief Minister a "jerk off".



The Country Liberal Party's advertisement, which has been running before the territory's election on Saturday, shows an optometrist's eye chart with, from top to bottom, the letters H-EN-DOI-SAJE-RKOFF.

There's nothing wrong with that, except that when one reads it in full, it spells out: ''HENDO IS A JERK OFF GET RID OF HIM!!''



"Hendo" is the Labor Party's Paul Henderson, who has been Chief Minister of the Northern Territory since 2007. The CLP has since changed the advertisement after complaints. The party simply stated that "the line had been removed".
