Valentine home given gift-wrapped

Romantic Jasin Boland has given his fiancee possibly the ultimate Valentine present - a gift-wrapped house.

The 41-year-old Hollywood photographer bought the £500,000 waterside holiday home in the Cotswolds for German girlfriend Maria Moral Pena, 28.

He arranged to have it wrapped in white paper, decorated with red hearts and tied with a giant pink ribbon and bow.

Australian Mr Boland said he was making up for a rather ordinary Valentine gift the year before.

"Last year, I just took her out to dinner which wasn't much of a present, so I thought I'd better do something special to make up for it," he said.

It took several hours and 500 metres (1,640 ft) of paper to cover the house, which is on the exclusive Lower Mill Estate near Somerford Keynes, Gloucestershire.
