It's red. IT'S RED!

Update: I've just found this clip on YouTube.

And ... the lovely MacKenzie has made two video responses.

It seems Daddy finally got it right.

Or is this part of a viral marketing campaign? Hmmm.

Vote for me and have a potato, says party tycoon

Armenian politicians have been accused of buying votes in forthcoming elections with gifts of potatoes.

The allegations come after the Flourishing Armenia party led by Gagik Tsarukian, one of the richest men in the country, followed other parties by announcing it was giving the vegetables and medical supplies following a drought as acts of "charity".

Opponents in the former Soviet state, where the average annual income is £750, said the handouts were cynical attempts by the elite to stay in power.

Shavarsh Kocharian, an MP, told Armenianow.com: "Hungry people will swear by the name of the person who helps them."

15 year old held in cells after he kicked ball which dented car

It was only a wayward shot during a game of street football among teenage friends.

But when the ball ricocheted off a neighbour's car and left a small scuff mark, Ashley Gallagher, 15, found himself facing the worst kind of penalty.

The terrified schoolboy - who has never been in trouble before - was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and carted off to a police station where he had to hand over his keys and shoe laces before being thrown into a police cell.

He was later given a taped interview, his fingerprints and DNA were taken, before he was bailed until next month when he will have to return for further questioning and may be charged.

If the case goes to court he faces up to three months in jail as well as paying compensation.

Take a Wagyu cow, give it a drop of wine ... delicious

Most people enjoy a glass of good red wine with a juicy steak. Australian farmers have gone one step further. They have put their prized Wagyu cows on a diet laced with red wine, in the hope of creating an even more succulent beef.

The lucky bovines live in Margaret River, in Western Australia, which produces some of the country's most celebrated reds. The area also has a big agriculture industry, and some farmers have been breeding the Wagyu cows - first bred in Japan - that yield the world's most expensive red meat.

The black cattle are notoriously pampered; in Japan, they are fed beer to stimulate their appetites, massaged to relieve tired muscles, and played classical music to soothe their nerves. Cows that feel mellow and relaxed before they are slaughtered are said to produce beef of an exquisite tenderness. In Margaret River, the Wagyus are being raised on a diet supplemented by a litre of red wine a day.

Peter Semini, who farms the cows, said they received a twice-daily tipple. "There is a special ration worked out," he said. "We just mix the wine in the tub in the morning and then at night. They just get right into it."

Heroic 10 year old who lost both feet to meningitis becomes squash champion

At the age of 10, Alice Harvey is fast gaining a reputation as a tough competitor on the squash court with her unique ambidextrous style.

Switching the racquet from hand to hand in the blink of an eye as she selects her shots, her dazzling skills were this week on show at the British Junior Open championships where she played in the girls' under-13 section. In the same age group, she is currently ranked 14th in the country.

They are impressive enough achievements for any little girl who regularly plays and beats opponents two years older than her. But Alice is all the more remarkable - because she had part of both legs amputated after suffering meningitis as a baby.
