State troopers, Orange County deputies, and officers from the Town of Wallkill spent nearly two hours running over four miles of snow-covered woods looking for a suspect on the run Friday night in the towns of Wallkill and Mount Hope.
In the end, a tired and sweaty Orange County deputy from the K-9 unit decided to hail a cab to catch the guy.
A while later the suspect appeared and hailed the same cab.
