Doctors' Slang, Medical Slang and Medical Acronyms

These have been collected from the UK and USA, with a few non-English contributions. Some of the acronyms are region-specific and have differing meanings in US and UK. The slang/acronyms are directed variously at patients, other medical staff or mystifying medical conditions.
