Waterside shed goes on sale at £250,000

The property boom gathers apace: a boatshed, just 13 feet wide and 80 feet deep, is to be auctioned with a guide price of a quarter of a million pounds.

The waterside shed, with green painted double doors and a sloping corrugated iron roof, is jammed in between two other buildings at the exclusive yachting resort of Salcombe, south Devon. The shed can also be accessed from the resort's Island Street, and has a slipway to the tidal Kingsbridge estuary.

The property is being sold by Charles Head and Son.
