A racehorse gets a rocket under him — as he lands on a marker flare and sets it off.



Back Nine and rider Dominic Alers-Hankey gave a sparky performance after triggering the device in an Army point-to-point at Larkhill, Wilts.

Luckily, the pair were unhurt by the flare, used to simulate shell fire on Salisbury Plain.

Back Nine was unplaced.
