Hungarian police have launched a search among their own ranks for two men in police uniform whose hip-hop dance routine has been posted on the video sharing Web site YouTube and local news sites.
It was not clear if the two dancers, who are seen gyrating and making obscene gestures, were real policemen.
The 55-second video appeared under the headline "Bajai hip-hop" referring to the town of Baja in central Hungary on YouTube.
"This started as a funny thing but now we are getting questions about it," police spokesman Tamas Nyikos told Reuters.
If they are found to be genuine members of the police force, their commanding officer would decide whether they had broken any rules and should be punished, he said.
