Harrods to launch guitar exhibition

A special guitar exhibition is being launched at Harrods department store.

A collection of instruments thought to be worth tens of millions of pounds, including guitars played and customised by Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones will be displayed at the London store.

Vintage guitars belonging to Bono, Jennifer Lopez and Neil Young will also be on show for Harrods Rocks, which begins at a star studded launch party later.

The collection, which includes 150 priceless guitars, has already been showcased in Paris and Dublin's National Museum of Ireland.

They are due to be displayed in the window of the second floor of the world famous department store.
