Parahawking

Parahawking is essentially a fusion between Paragliding and Falconry. Using ancient falconry methods and ultra-modern paraglider technology.

Pioneered in Nepal by Scott Mason, along with Adam Hill and Graham Saunders Griffiths of the Himalayan Frontiers Team, birds of prey are trained using the methods of the ancient art of falconry to assist Paragliding pilots and guide them to the thermals.

Parahawking

Scott has been recently working with Louise Crandal, current womens world Paragliding champion and a dedicated Parahawker, together they have taken Parahawking to the next level.

There's another short but high quality video showing Louise Crandal Parahawking here.
