Man to stop taking photos of legs

A man who took about 200 mobile phone photos and videos of unsuspecting women's legs as they shopped has vowed to stop after he avoided jail.

Fish factory worker Gordon Rae, 42, from Boddam, took the leg photos in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

Rae admitted behaving in a disorderly manner and was placed on probation for 18 months at the town's sheriff court.



He said: "I still like women's legs but I won't do it again. I don't want to go to prison. I still have a phone with a camera on it but I won't allow myself to use it.

"I don't want women to be scared of me, I am not a pervert."

Sheriff Malcolm Garden also placed Rae on the Sex Offenders' Register.
