'Drowning' elephants rescued in India

Residents in Orissa’’s Satuli village turned good samaritans and rescued two elephants from a possible death by drowning. The village, which is close to the Ganjam Forest Division, often faces a rampage by wild elephants.

However, recently, two elephants were found trapped in a water tank. The forest authorities were immediately informed and the elephants were rescued.
