A two-year-old black bear let himself into a sandwich shop and smelt the ingredients, in footage captured on CCTV.
Rebecca Branton, an employee, is seen making a run for the bathroom, as the bear wanders around the Subway restaurant in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. His every move was caught on the shop's nine video cameras.
At one point the bear is seen getting up on its hind legs and resting its front paws on the window, before eventually coming around behind the counter to sniff at the ingredients.
Police arrived quickly, but by that point the bear had left the restaurant. It was put down by conservation officers a short time later.
