Hospital saves frog's front legs

This female frog broke both of her front legs after getting crushed in the front door of a house in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

But staff at St Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in nearby Aylesbury, Bucks, saved the creature by fitting her with specially-made casts. They used an endrotraecal tube to make two splints for the tiny amphibian who measures just three inches.
