Belgian footballer Anthony Van Loo, who plays for SV Roeselare, suffered a heart attack during a match aginst Antwerp earlier this week, but survived thanks to his implanted defibrillator.
Photo from here.
Van Loo initially collapses. As he lays on the ground, his legs begin shaking when the defibrillator automatically shocks his heart. Then he sits up.
Van Loo was diagnosed with a heart condition last year and was only allowed back in the sport because of the implanted machine.
