Woman accused of killing mother-to-be and taking her baby

An Oregon woman has been arrested for allegedly killing a pregnant woman.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue went to a Beaverton house on NW Mill Creek Drive on Friday afternoon on a call about a new born baby in danger.

TVFR noticed a large amount of blood at the scene, as well as a man and woman performing CPR on the baby. The woman—Korena Elaine Roberts—said she had just delivered the child.



Roberts and the baby were transported to St. Vincent's Hospital, but doctors discovered Roberts had not delivered a baby recently. The baby died at the hospital.

Later Washington County Sheriff deputies looked through the house and found a dead 21-year-old woman in the crawlspace of the house.

Roberts, still at the hospital, was arrested and charged with murder. She is being held without bail.
