Australian children 'filmed sex on mobile' as girl feared end of the world

At least three teenagers are being investigated by police for allegedly filming sex acts on a mobile phone and distributing it to other students.

Two students aged between 13 and 15 from a northside Brisbane state high school performed the sex acts in the toilets during school hours several months ago. Sources have said the incident occurred after the launch of the particle accelerator ring, the Hadron Collider which some dubbed a "doomsday device".

It is understood the girl wanted to lose her virginity to the boy – believing that the world was about to end.

Another student filmed the sex acts on his mobile phone without the girl's knowledge and then circulated it around the school and the wider community via bluetooth.

Police have warned those responsible for recording and distributing the images could be charged with producing child pornography, although that was unlikely given the age of the students.

But police say it is not the first time they have investigated incidents involving students producing sex videos, which are then circulated via text or over the internet.
