Road safety experts are drawing up special road signs warning drivers of drunks in the road after a landmark legal ruling ahead of Europe's biggest beer festival.
A motorcyclist was this week ordered to pay more than £2,000 compensation to a drunk who'd wandered in front of her bike during the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.
Now traffic authorities have designed signs to warn motorists to expect erratic behaviour from pie-eyed pedestrians during the week-long booze-up.
"They are not like ordinary pedestrians. They are almost uniformly drunk and liable to behave very strangely and dangerously. Motorists need to beware," said one traffic expert.
