Man is set to become Britain’s oldest dad aged 75

Proud Gerry Burks is getting ready to become Britain's oldest dad - at 75. Gerry's wife Dawn, 40, is due to give birth next March.

The couple already have a six-year-old son, Daniel, and the new arrival will put Gerry in the record books.

The ex-HGV driver, who already has three grown-up children from his first marriage, said: "Age has never been an issue for me and Dawn.

"We seem to meet in the middle, as I am young at heart and she always says she is older for her age. I can do anything a younger man can."
