The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ordered Mint nightclub in Leeds not to repeat the flyer because it was likely to cause "serious offence" to some people.
The text on the flyer read: "Filth THE SLUT PARTY SAT OCTOBER 10TH @ THE MINT CLUB, LEEDS”. The reverse included text that stated: “£8 ENTRY TO THE FIRST 50 SLUTS”.
The ASA received four complaints — three of whom were women who believed that it degraded women.
Two complainants felt the ad was irresponsible because it could be seen by children.
In defence, Mint Club said the club had been hired out to promotional company Filth UK for the event.
