A woman who allegedly tried to run over her ex-boyfriend's brother threw a bag of urine at arresting officers, according to police. Monica Avila, 39, was booked for investigation of attempted murder.
Investigators say the brother of her ex-boyfriend called police to report a trespasser on his property at around 3 a.m. on Thursday. When the man, 44, went outside to talk to Avila, she allegedly tried to run him over with her vehicle and then fled.
Police pulled her over a short time later. Avila removed her urostomy bag and threw it at three officers, who were splashed with urine, according to Lt. Chris Russ.
She was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder for the car crash. Additional charges are possible stemming from the assault on officers.
