Canadian driver films near miss with truck

A motorist in Canada has captured dramatic video of a lorry smashing through a highway dividing barrier in Ontario and into oncoming traffic. The driver unexpectedly filmed the event with a dashboard camera.

Matthew Kriszan was driving on Highway 401 near Guelph when a truck travelling in the other direction crashed into his path, narrowly missing his vehicle.

"I literally just missed the front of this truck as it was coming apart and luckily I missed it just in time and I pulled over," said Kriszan.

A sudden blizzard had caused hazardous driving conditions. The truck driver was charged with careless driving.
