Police say that Finch had broken into the home and had been there for several days. During that time he reportedly consumed a large amount of alcohol. Because of his drunken state, Finch was unable to climb out of the window or unlock the main doors which were secured from both sides.
The Police were able to free Finch and he was taken into custody. The homeowner was not there during the time.
