Minced meat used as weapon in alleged assault in Paradise

An unusual weapon is said to have been used in the commission of an assault in Paradise.

Chantille J. Rodway appeared in provincial court in St. John’s on Jan. 2, facing two charges: assault and assault with a weapon, that weapon being a pack of minced meat.



The meat was frozen and Rodway is accused of having hit the package against a male complaintant inside of a home in Paradise.

Following her court appearance, she was released on an undertaking. She will appear in court again on Jan. 27.
