Dog ordered to leave Madinah

A dog that bit a young girl in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, was ordered by a judge in the holy city's summary court to leave the area. The court also fined the dog's owner 1,500 Saudi riyals, (£250, $400), as compensation.

The girl's father filed a lawsuit against the dog's owner at the summary court asking for compensation and for the dog to be taken out of the area.

Neither the name of the father or his daughter were released. The owner denied that his dog was responsible for the incident, although medical reports proved otherwise.

The judge based his verdict on an Islamic ruling that harm must be dealt with immediately.

Yeah... unless you're a woman who's been raped.

Don't be so negative, L. I'm sure even then justice is swift, the seductive whore is lashed and stoned with utmost haste, don't you worry.
