Woman finds frog in can of beans

A Lexington woman says she got more than she bargained for when she took home a can of green beans from a local grocery store.

It's something Priscilla Owens says she found staring up at her on Sunday morning when she opened a can of beans. Owens says inside the can of Wylwood Blue Lake Cut Green Beans she found a dead frog.



"The grossest thing I"ve ever seen," Owens said. "I can deal with maybe a grasshopper, because I know that they probably jump around in the green bean field. But a whole frog? That's a whole other ball game," she says.

And Owens' kids who would have been munching on those greens? "Both of my children say they'll probably never eat green beans again. And I don't blame them." she says.
