A 'terrified' woman from Coventry dialled 999 to tell police there was a spider in her kitchen.
She asked for an officer to be sent to her home to help remove the unwanted intruder.
Police said the woman on the line was “terrified” and wanted an officer to be dispatched to her Coventry home. The unusual ‘emergency’ call came at 8.40pm on Tuesday.
Unsurprisingly officers were in no rush to arrest the creepy crawly and instead the caller was reminded that the 999 service was for more urgent matters.
