Wonky donkey has front legs set in casts

An equine vets has has admitted its smallest ever patient – Primrose, the three-week-old donkey foal.

Primrose was born prematurely which meant the bones in her legs are not fully developed.

Vets at Bind Equine Veterinary Practice in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, have had to set her two front legs in casts to support her body weight until they grow strong enough to hold her up.

YouTube link. Also.

It is hoped that in 10 days time the casts can come off and Primrose will have made a full recovery.
