The vehicle crashed through the window of Home Sweet Home in Leigh-on-Sea at about 11:40 on Tuesday.
Most of the estate car was inside the shop when it stopped, surrounded by glass, rubble and store items.

Firefighters said it was "amazing" nobody was injured as there were a number of people in Leigh Road at the time of the crash.
