Man pulled three pounds of hair from exhaust pipe of his car

A 22-year-old man told police he pulled three pounds of hair from his 1994 Honda Civic's exhaust pipe, according to a recently released police report.

The man told investigators he parked his car in the driveway of his Port St. Lucie, Florida, home on May 9th. At about 1:30pm on May 10th, he drove to a petrol station.



He noticed the hair coming out of his exhaust pipe when he exited the petrol station. He pulled the hair out and saw smoke emitting from his exhaust pipe. The man then drove to a friend's house nearby to extract the remaining hair.

He showed police a more than half full garbage bag of hair from his exhaust pipe. "The bag had approximately 3 pounds of blonde and brown hair in it," the report states.
