Naked woman thrown from car after driver ran red light while apparently having sex in front seat

An Albuquerque man is in jail after a bizarre chain of events on a busy street.



Witnesses say it started with 25-year-old Luis Briones behind the wheel, with Natasha Carroll, 21, on his lap apparently having sex. They say he ran a red light and crashed, throwing a naked Ms Carroll from the car.



According to the criminal complaint, Briones tried to drive away, leaving Ms Carroll behind. A witness was able to grab his keys. Briones “then jumped into a bush, landing and attempting to hide in a cactus.” Police found Briones with one shoe and his shorts on inside out.

A half-empty bottle of vodka was found inside Briones’s vehicle. Police say he was clearly drunk. Briones is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, aggravated DWI and having an open container. Ms Carroll is expected to recover and is not charged with any crime.
