Woman slit dog's throat for sniffing daughter's private parts

A woman from Haleiwa in Hawaii told police she slit her dog's throat because the canine would not stop sniffing her daughter's private parts.

This disturbing detail is in court documents outlining the animal cruelty charge against 36-year-old Andrea Fiegle.

Police say Fiegle killed the dog at her home on Sunday. The arresting officer says he asked Fiegle if the dog was dangerous or if it charged or bit someone. She said no.

Fiegle is free after posting $11,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. Fiegle is the first person in Hawaii charged under a law making cruelty to animals a felony.
