As anti-nuclear protester Stuart Holmes attempted to disrupt a live television interview with former Labour spin doctor Damian McBride about his new book in Brighton yesterday, Mr McBride's publisher, the Conservative blogger Iain Dale, tackled him to the ground.
Unfortunately for Mr Holmes, his dog didn't appear to know who it was supposed to be protecting, at one point appearing to sink its teeth into his backside.

I hope Mr Holmes makes a complaint to the police, that is assault. And whatever happened to the free exchange of opinions in a civil society?
Mr. Holmes is the one who brought the dog. The dog has a protest sign on his body.
I think BoS is aware of that, Anonymous.
Iain Dale has now been questioned by police.
