Commuters at Winchester railway station had their journeys disrupted
on Friday morning when a swan sat on to the tracks.
The young bird got on the tracks shortly after 7:30am, holding up a train
running from Southampton to London.
The swan then moved to the southbound line where it delayed three further trains.

After a short stand-off it was rescued by a worker before being passed to the RSPCA.
And now it will go breed more swans that are too stupid to stay off rail tracks. Good job interfering with natural selection.
