Man who failed to flush arrested for burglary

A man accused of stealing items from a home in Oklahoma City was charged with burglary based on what he left behind. Charles Marqull Williams, 20, was charged on Wednesday with first-degree burglary in Oklahoma County District Court.

Court documents show on January 23 of last year, Williams broke into the victim's home. Officers say he stole gaming equipment, clothing, and a bb gun totalling more than $1,000. Before he left, he relieved himself in the family's toilet, leaving behind unflushed faeces and a used piece of toilet paper on the floor. A DNA test on the toilet paper matched Williams.

"Unbelievable.... I just can't believe it!" says Barbara O'Dell, who lives near the victim's home. "Breaking in is bad enough, but to do that... that's really bad," she added. "Oh my god! That is so disgusting. Shame on you! You deserve to get caught!" says Maria Tutor, another neighbour.

"I think it's disgusting!" agrees Shequita Law, also a neighbour. She and others who live nearby say there have been a few break-ins here before, but nothing like this. "Flush!... That's disgusting. That is just disgusting..." Charles Marqull Williams is in the Oklahoma County Jail with no bond.
