What the heck is a "gum crawl"? Bing search came up with nada.
I think it refers to koalas' fondeness for eating eucalyptus leaves, with many species of eucalyptus trees known as gum trees. (Because of the sap they exude from the bark.)So gum crawl as in pub crawl.
I think that's koala for "feck off and leave me alone".
Heh, I think that about sums it up!
