Underwear thief turned out to be stray dogs

The mystery of missing women's underwear and shoes in Kampung Bukit Hijau, Kuala Selangor, Malaysia, has been solved.

The culprits turned out to be stray dogs. Residents had initially thought a pervert was responsible.



“Later we discovered that some stray dogs took and left them all under some oil palm trees where the animals normally sleep at night,” said Hamsah Hamid, 60.

Another resident, Saerah Kutut, 63, said that while the stray dogs were a nuisance at times, they were quite effective at preventing monkeys from entering houses and stealing food.
