Kenth Rehn, 38, was out for a stroll in Kneippen, Sweden, when he saw a mallard caught by a fishing hook. So he jumped into a lake and rescued the bird.
It was cold, he says. But he never hesitated about jumping into the water when he saw that the duck needed help.
At around noon last Friday Rehn passed three men who were fishing. As they cast out their fishing line the duck flew into the hook and became stuck.
So he stripped down to his underpants and jumped in , rescuing the duck before removing the hook. The duck was then released back into the water.
