Shoplifter suspected of stealing burglar alarm system

Images of a man suspected of stealing a burglar alarm system from a DIY store in Essex have been released.

The man is alleged to have removed the alarm from the B&Q Store on Pipps Hill Retail Park in Basildon on 22 January.



A police spokesman said the man took the £200 alarm system from the display and "left the store without making any attempt to pay".

The man, thought to be about 5ft 9in tall, entered the shop at about 5:30pm.
