Police have appealed for the owners of gnomes believed to
have been taken from Aberdeenshire gardens to come forward.
A total of 33 gnomes and garden ornaments were recovered from a vehicle that
was stopped in the Banff area early on Thursday.
Police Scotland said they were believed to have been taken from a variety of
addresses overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.
Anyone who is missing a gnome is asked to contact Police Scotland.
