A snake lover is demanding a bigger bin to dump his dead rats in.
Danny Thompson-Sullivan claims his wheelie bin is overflowing with the rotting rodents his pet snakes won’t eat.
The 36-year-old, who lives in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, has resorted to ditching rancid bin bags full of rubbish in the bathroom of his flat.
He said: “Snakes don’t eat every day so I’m lumbered with dead rats.
The bags upstairs have got little pinkies (mice) in them and it absolutely stinks.”
Mr Thompson-Sullivan’s four pet serpents, including a boa constrictor called Fritz, usually eat about one or two rats a week each but only when they are feeling peckish.
He added: “I just want a bigger bin, I even said I’ll pay for it.
“I could go out the back and dump my rubbish when it’s dark but I’m not like that.”
Mr Thompson-Sullivan, who used to weigh around 50 stone, keeps other exotic pets including a centipede, a millipede, 13 tarantulas, a scorpion and a bull frog.
Maintaining the beasts’ cages also leads to a lot of mess which needs to be disposed of.
Cllr Budge Wells, deputy executive member for sustainable communities services at Central Bedfordshire Council, said: “An officer from our waste minimisation team has visited Mr Thompson-Sullivan to look into this issue.
Following the visit we will be putting in place a number of measures which we hope will resolve the problem.”

Are people legally permitted to keep a menagerie like that in a private home in England?
On the whole, yes.
However, if something is considered to be a wild animal, or dangerous, then a licence is required.
Nowadays he is noncing kids all day, every day on the PlayStation and YouTube panels and whining about his trollers with his fake Police cases.
Great job my love ♥️
