Theft of knobs meant man couldn't drive car home from pub

Police are trying to find a thief who left a man unable to drive home from a rural Pennsylvania tavern after stealing all of the control knobs from the inside of the man’s unlocked car.

Police said the 39-year-old victim, of Fisher, was inside the Knotty Pines restaurant in Farmington Township, Clarion County, on the evening of June 14.

When he went to leave early the next morning, the man found that someone had entered his unlocked Pontiac sedan and ripped off all of the knobs and controls inside.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Marienville.

I hope he was drinking something non-alcoholic all that time. If not, whoever stole the knob's knobs did everyone a favour.

"Unlocked" so I have no sympathy. And he spent all night at a tavern. Sounds like someone saved his life.
