The plastic inflatable ball burst during a group exercise class on Studland Beach in Dorset on Saturday.
Due to his location being miles away from a road, police had to clear part of the beach to allow the coastguard rescue helicopter to land.
He suffered a suspected spinal injury and was flown to Poole Hospital for treatment.

Nothing good comes from exercise. Think I'll have another glass of wine. On the internet it says that a glass of red wine equals an hour in the gym. I'm on my fifth hour at the gym. I believe it's all true because I read it on the Internet.
