Cat tried to save the day as thief stole donation box from Kitty Café

CCTV footage has captured a thief stealing a donation box from a cat café, and a moggie called Daisy appearing to try to stop him.



The box, containing more than £60 that had been donated for the cats, was stolen from the Kitty Café in Nottingham.

Co-owner Elliot Reed, who was on the counter when it happened, said Daisy "must have realised something was up or something was missing that was there normally".

The theft happened at about 3:15pm on Tuesday afternoon and has been reported to police.
