Gold painted man arrested for DUI following hit-and-run incidents

California Highway Patrol officers say a man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in the San Francisco Bay Area on Wednesday.

He had allegedly hit three cars on a freeway and then led police on a brief chase. The chase, in Berkeley, came to an end when a wheel fell off his car.

No one was injured. When police pulled over 21-year-old Damaj Cook they discovered that he was covered head-to-toe in gold spray paint.

Cook was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run. Police later said that Cook was returning from a photoshoot.
