An abandoned goldfish found on Sunday morning is being held at a police station in the Norwegian town of Bodø while officers try to track down its owner.
Officers found the goldfish inside a shopping bag at the Nordlandshall indoor football stadium and took it back to the police station after being unable to find its owner.
Ina Selfors, spokeswoman for the Nordland police district, said that somebody had likely had taken the goldfish to the stadium on Saturday and forgotten it was there.
Selfors says she hopes the owner will contact them. Ivar Bo Nilsson, an officer with Salten Police added that in the meantime police officers are taking care of the fish.
